Qualifying 8th, with the 2nd fastest entry speed, Stephan Verdier faced Ross Petty in the first round of tandems.  Stephan did an excellent job leading, but thought Ross was following much closer than he really was.  So when he followed he tried to enter much ealier and much faster than Ross.  However, he caught up much quicker than he anticipated and had to get on the brakes to prevent a crash, which caused him to spin.  Stephan gets better with each event, so look out for him in Round 5.

On the Pro-Am side, Forrest Wang was able to beat out the rest of the amateurs to win the Formula D Pro-Am with his Full-Race powered S13.  Look out for him in the finals later this year.  We expect big things from him in the future.
