Our friend Sylvain from up north is having one heck of a season!   Sylvain is one of the fastest autocrossers in Canada, placing regionally multiple times, he has even had the opportunity to kart against the 1997 Formula 1 champ Jacques Villenueve!

He had himself another busy weekend.  Saturday, he started off doing a regional autocross in Montreal and finished all four morning sessions with the Fastest Time of the Days.  However, in the evening he started pushing the car too much and hit a few cones.  This placed him third overall, behind a FSAE car and a stripped MR2 (no body pannels, glass, interior, fuel tank relocated inside the car).  A very respectable finish for a Street Modified car.

Then, on Sunday, he went to another regional event at the Montmagmy Autodrome in Quebec.  He was battling back and forth between a friend in a 2002 STI for the FTD, but on his last run, a misshift caused him to lose time and took second, only .1 second behind!
